Following the recent news The Safety Supply Company has been inundated with requests for protective face masks. The virus particles are very small and to offer you the best possible protection against inhaling the virus an FFP3 disposable mask should be worn. However for those that are infected or suspect that they may be, an un-valved FFP2 mask should be worn to prevent the spread. The Flu is spread by exhaled moist particles which are relatively large and therefore easier for the mask to trap. For those infected either a FFP2 mask or the cheaper option of a surgical mask will reduce the possibility of spreading the virus.
